About IEEE Atlanta Section – Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Chapter

The IEEE Atlanta Section serves northern Georgia, including the metropolitan Atlanta area and surrounding counties covered by ZIP codes 300, 301, 302, 303, 305, 306, 307, and 311 (excluding Wilkes and Taliaferro counties). Within this section, the Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) Chapter is the hub for all activities related to artificial intelligence.

CIS is widely recognized as the AI Society of IEEE. It advances computational-intelligence disciplines—such as neural networks, evolutionary computation, fuzzy systems, and swarm intelligence—that underpin today’s powerful AI systems and intelligent machines.

Mission and Focus
