Our mission is to support the professional development<\/strong> of our members and to foster meaningful engagement<\/strong> among professionals, researchers, and students in the region. Through collaborative activities, technical events, and knowledge sharing, we aim to strengthen our community and advance the fields of Power Electronics<\/strong> and Power & Energy Systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The IEEE East Tennessee PELS & PES Joint Chapter<\/strong> logo represents the unique identity of our region and the collaboration between two dynamic IEEE societies \u2014 the Power Electronics Society (PELS)<\/strong> and the Power & Energy Society (PES)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At the heart of the design is a tribute to Tennessee<\/strong>, featuring elements inspired by the Tennessee state flag<\/strong>. The three stars<\/strong> symbolize the three grand divisions of Tennessee \u2014 East, Middle, and West \u2014 reflecting unity across our diverse region.<\/p>\n
