The Global Mentoring-Meet Program is an initiative to connect experienced industry leaders with students and young members in their early career stage for a short-term, impactful mentoring experience. IEEE YP considers this as one of their main projects to embark on in 2023. The program promotes global resource sharing while acknowledging regions’ specific preferences.

Suggestions from our Mentors
When young people learn from experienced professionals, the key decisions they made, and how these decisions impacted the rest of their career, the young people have a head start by knowing these things earlier in their career. They can better plan. They know what is important and what they need to do. Mentoring can give young people an advantage over those who do not have a mentor.
