The deadline for submitting papers to IEEE Region 3 Flagship conference SoutheastCon 2024 is fast approaching – please submit your review manuscript by January 20th, 2024.

IEEE SoutheastCon 2024 invites prospective authors to submit their original technical work on any aspects of engineering, science, and technology of current interest to the conference.

We will be using EDAS for both paper submission and review process.

IEEE SoutheastCon 2024, has a virtual presentation option as well. The in-person component is scheduled to be held in Atlanta, GA USA during 20th – 24th March, 2024, while the virtual paper presentation sessions will be held during 15th – 17th March, 2024 (details TBD).

Important Due Dates
• Abstract/Paper Submission: 20 January 2024
• Extend Abstract for Poster presentation: 20 January 2024
• Tutorials and Workshops Proposal Submission: 15 January 2024
• Final Notification to Authors: 10 February 2024
• Camera-Ready Papers: 4 March 2024

To have the paper published, an author must register and present the paper at the conference either virtually or in-person. Authors MUST register for conference by: February 14, 2024. Details on registration are posted on the conference website: https://ieeesoutheastcon.org/registration-2024/.

Moreover, proposals for Tutorials, Workshops and Demonstrations (TWD) are also being accepted at this time. Proposals should be no longer than two pages and should include:

  • An abstract (limit 500 words)
  • An outline of the TWD
  • The proposed length of the TWD (1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, or 8 hours)
  • The resumé(s) of the instructor(s)
  • Fees required by attendees (if any)
  • Any other pertinent information or clarification
