Welcome to the Central Virginia Section section website for the members of the IEEE. Here you will find important announcements, calendar of events, information on officers, other units, and useful links.

As shown on the map, we cover most of the Shenandoah Valley and the east side of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Specifically, the Central Virginia Section includes the counties of Albemarle, Amherst, Appomattox, Augusta, Bedford, Buckingham, Campbell, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa, Madison, Nelson, Orange, Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Shenandoah, and Warren, as well at the independent cities of Bedford, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg, Lynchburg, Staunton, and Waynesboro.

Senior Member Upgrade

The Senior Member grade is the highest level of IEEE membership for which application may be made and requires experience reflecting professional maturity. For more information and links to online application forms, please visit the Senior Member Upgrade page.
