WIE Student Branch
The student branches of the IEEE are a meeting point to address more in the world of engineering, while knowing people with whom they share the same
interests.
The Wie Affinity Group of the Student Branch aims to support and encourage young students to pursue careers in the field of science and engineering
through activities and the execution of projects, meetings and conferences.
Within its main activities are the organization and participation in talks, generation of knowledge through research, development and implementation
framed in new technologies.
On December 10, 2010, the WIE student group was established at the Technological University of Panama.

WIE JAMAICA Mission & Goals
Mission
To cultivate and foster technological innovation to enhance economic growth in Jamaica.
Goal #1
To provide opportunities for women Engineers to share knowledge, skills and experience with girls in High Schools, Universities and young professionals through innovative projects.
Goal #2
To foster collaborative efforts with women in engineering members, senior member, graduate student members, young professionals, potential IEE Members to retain and develop the member through its activities.
Goal #3
To Pursue and utilize other WIE Affinity Groups expertise with an aim to build WIE Jamaica Section.
