Welcome to the Mobile Section of IEEE! This section, formed in January 1953, represents members across many fields including power engineering, communications, information technology, electronics design, and computer engineering. Members include professionals, students, graduate students, and retirees.
The IEEE Mobile section is one of the Region 3 IEEE sections in Alabama. We are proud to host several technical meetings with national/international speakers. We invite you to be part of the IEEE network in Mobile to expand your technical knowledge, develop strong peer-to-peer connections, and hone your leadership skills. We have a Student Branch that works on technical projects, volunteers, and hosts a number of social events and technical meetings. It is located at the University of South Alabama.
