IEEE Jackson PES is offering a tour of the Nissan Plant in Canton, MS. Nissan manufactures the Titan both in diesel and gas engine versions, Altima 2.5, Frontier, Murano, and the NV Commercial Van in high-roof, standard-roof and passenger van at the Canton facility. This facility is broken down into 4 individual plants and we will get to visit 3 of the plants. This tour will consist of visiting the Stamping plant, the Body assembly plant and the Trim & chassis plant. Nissan makes 1600 vehicles a day and currently employs close to 10,000 people including onsite suppliers here at Canton-Nissan. Location: Bldg: Visitor loby 300 Nissan Drive Canton, Mississippi 39046
