Mr. Myer will be sharing his knowledge of cloud computing with us. Companies are moving resources and applications into the “cloud” and David will present cloud architecture details and present the benefits as well as the limitations.

David specializes in Cloud, Hyperscale and High Performance Computing. David joined Dell in 2008, and held the role of Systems Consultant for two years in Florida where he architected virtualization solutions with Dell servers and storage.

An eighteen year industry veteran, David started his career in the US Navy as a Unix System Administrator responsible for several mission critical Special Operations intelligence system. Since leaving the Navy in 1999, he has held numerous positions at some of the IT’s most noteworthy companies including CA Technologies (formerly CA) and Symantec. He has spent time at two Value Added Resellers that focused on eCommerce and Disaster Recovery solutions, some of which were successfully tested on September 11th, 2001. As a recognized expert with Linux and Open Source technologies, David was a regularly featured speaker at several industry trade shows including the Linux World Expos in both New York and San Francisco. David also obtained a Masters of Business Administration degree from Grand Canyon University
