ABSTRACT: The demand for broadband wireless communication services are growing exponentially and at the same time carriers are faced with fierce competition due to high penetration of consumer devices. This creates a two-fold problem. One is to maintain and upgrade network performance. The other, is to keep operational cost down. This provides a new opportunity to consultants that are able to solve immediate problems to the carriers needs. In this talk, the author will discuss the key ingredients to become a successful leader in the consultant field of wireless communication systems.

As the Founder and President of InteliOPT, Inc, a Florida based Telecom Engineering firm that specializes in design, optimization, testing and implementation of today’s wireless and fixed networks, he is responsible for running all aspect of the business.

In the short three years Peter Panko has built an engineering firm that has completed several major wireless and fixed network design and implementation projects for top 3 major wireless carries. Peter Panko is a seasoned engineering professional with broad industry experience, coupled with a strong track record of carrier-class service delivery.

He has a proven executive management track record with over 16 years of experience in the Telecom industry. Prior to founding inteliOPT, Peter Panko served as the Regional Senior Engineering Manager for Sprint Nextel for 11 years. His responsibilities ranged from managing 2G, 3G and 4G network design, deployment, implementation and operations. He began his wireless engineering career at Comsearch, VA based consulting company. Peter Panko earned his BSEE degree from Polytechnic of Lublin, Poland.
