Administrative meeting to reorganize the FWCS/CNAG, welcome new members and elect new officers for the port of Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer according to the ByLaws of the group. We will discuss the purpose of CNAG, its inception, its functions and allow members to network and exchange ifnormation.

I would like to extend to you my warmest welcome to the Consultants Network Affinity group of the Florida West Coast (FWCS/CNAG) of which you are a registered member and invite you to attend an online Administrative and Planning meeting to define the operations and management of the Consultants Network.

The Consultants Network’s mission is to support all IEEE Members who are practicing their profession as Consultants in any Engineering Field approved by IEEE and provide them the means and information to become successful in their endeavors, supporting them in becoming Consultants and guiding them in the establishing of their consulting business.

Our group has been active since 8th March 2009 when its charter was approved by IEEE and became an official entity of the Florida West Coast Section. The Consultants Network Affinity Group (CNAG) has been active since its founding by Hermann Amaya and serving all members by providing information and support as required, along with monthly meetings. These meetings were initially scheduled for the last Tuesday of the month considering that the EXCOM of FWCS meeting takes place on the first Tuesday of each month, to have continuity of reporting to the Section Chair. The arrival of the COVID19 pandemic impacted the CNAG ability to continue operations on a regular schedule so it went on a sabbatical until now when we are renewing its role and support to its members.
