– OSHA & NFPA 70E – Requirements for compliance and awareness of electrical workers
– Accident statistics and safety programs
– The “Qualified” person and their role in electrical work
– Hazard identification, and understanding of countermeasures
– Shock protection boundaries and the hazards of electrical shock
– Arc flash hazards to personnel and equipment
– Basic understanding of hazard warning labels
