The IEEE Senior Member rank is a recognition of impressive contributions in an Engineer’s career. Many eligible members face difficulty in becoming Senior Members due to the challenge of endorsement requirements by three Senior Members or Fellows. The Florida West Coast Section Senior Member Elevation Process works to shorten the road for eligible IEEE Members.

Senior Member Elevation – Interview Schedule

“The IEEE Senior Member Elevation Committee is not effecting any alterations to the existing requirements established by IEEE to elevate Member candidates to the rank of Senior Member but on the contrary, this process facilitates the nominations by speeding up the process and providing the opportunity to candidates to have their reference providers meet with them in a short 30-minute meeting online.”
