UAH ChargersThe UAH IEEE Student Branch at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) is a Registered Student Organization (RSO) that offers a platform for students to compete, network, and get involved. They have established themselves as a force to be reckoned with at the annual IEEE SoutheastCon, which includes robotics, circuits, and software design competitions. The UAH Student Branch was instrumental in hosting SoutheastCon 2008 in Huntsville and will host it again in 2026 in cooperation with the section and other local universities.

Beyond its competitions, the UAH IEEE student branch has several workshops throughout the semester to equip and train students with practical skills vital to success in the workforce. Regular networking events with local companies also get students involved with industry and help build professional contacts. There are also several fun social events throughout the year to help students connect and relax.
