Technical Societies
The six technical societies that the IEEE Huntsville Section includes are Aerospace Electronics and Systems Society (AESS), Computer Society (CS), Joint Robotics & Automation – Control Systems Society (JRACS), Electromagnetic Compatibility Society (EMC), Technical and Engineering Management Society (TEMS), and Joint Communications, AP, and MTT Society (JCAM).
Student Branches
The IEEE Student Branches work on technical projects, host lectures, volunteer, and host several social events. The student branches include Alabama A&M University, University of Alabama in Huntsville, and University of North Alabama.
Affinity Groups
The Young Professionals affinity group is a non-technical subunit of the Section.
