Title: FINALLY A FIELD TRIP

We have been able to pull together A tour of the new VT Carilion building at the Riverside complex for October 3^rd at 6:00PM.  This was to be our September meeting, but it was not available until now. So we are sorry for the short notice, but it could not be helped.  This will be a great opportunity to see the Electrical facilities of a high tech building. The tour will be led by our Senior Electrical Engineer Tamara Gray.  It is imperative that you have the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as this is an active construction site. We will not be providing PPE so you will have to provide your own.  The required PPE is hard hat, safety vest, and approved safety glasses. We will be limiting this tour to the first 25 RSVPs The contractor is SKANSKA, and it is only by their graciousness that we are able to tour this facility.  We will be meeting at the bottom of the steps of the parking garage at 5:50 PM because we must all be together when we enter the facility at 6:00PM.  The parking garage is located on Reserve avenue adjacent to the Riverside facility.  Parking is free.  To attend this tour you must RSVP no later than noon on October 1^st indicating that you have your PPE.  Let us know in advance if you need a PPE item and we will try to find what you need (no guarantees).  We will be meeting with Tamara after the tour across Jefferson street at Moe’s restaurant.
