From the Chair – Food for Thought

“Spiritual truth generally comes to us in seed form, and whether or not the seed bears fruit depends to a large degree on how we nurture it.” , a quote by Gray, Joan S. (2014-03-12). Hmmm, Career opportunity generally comes to us in seed form as well, and whether or not the seed bears fruit depends to a large degree on how we nurture it.  IEEE is a nurturing career opportunity.  Everyone we meet through IEEE is a network contributor, and we are network contributors to everyone that meets us!  The key, here, is ‘meet’.  Everything we do in IEEE is nurture; everything we do for IEEE is nurture and everything IEEE does for us is nurture as well.  The key here is ‘do’.  If we don’t meet, there is no nurture; and, if we don’t do, there is no nurture!  If there is no nurture, how is the seed going to grow.  And, if it sprouts at all, is it going to grow into a spindly dwarf or a great tree?  We all know the answer; what’s holding us back?
